Welcome to my Pocket PC and Windows Modbus Software site ! Here, you will find really useful diagnostic tools for SCADA or PLC engineers. The main tool is a Modbus Master program which allows you to hook up your Pocket PC to any PLC or other device which communicates using the MODBUS serial or TCP/IP protocol and remotely interrogate data or write data down to it. You can find more information about the Modbus Master program by clicking here. A Windows version of this program is now available. Another tool for Pocket PC users is the Modbus Slave program which also includes a scripting language to allow it to simulate a simple PLC. You can find more information about the Modbus Slave program by clicking here. You can also see some screen dumps and further information on the scripting facilities here. A Windows version of this program is also now available. After numerous requests, I have now created a Modbus Master ActiveX control. Simply plug this into your favourite development environment, either Pocket PC or Windows, and communicate to your Modbus device with ease ! This control comes in two versions. One contains a control for both Pocket PC and Windows development, the other only contains the Windows development control. Please note a Pocket PC only package is not available as the Windows control is required for eVB desktop development.
